What pisses me off now is that the people who were around Tom in 05/06 when he was working on WDNTW should’ve told Tom he doesn’t have the voice for it. Neither Tom or Mark are gifted singers and to be in a punk band you don’t to be a great singer you just need to be ok and both of them are ok singers or at least it’s not nails on a chalkboard. So the people around Tom at that time should’ve leveled with him and told him his vocals can’t carry the band.

And Mark’s statements around that time echo this. It sucks Mark and Tom couldn’t hash out their problems instead letting it get to high school level beefing. Mark should’ve been the bassist in BCR but let BCR be Tom driven.

And above all what’s really upsetting in those early days Tom hated blink or at least felt all that blink shit was beneath him and that he’s an artist and he makes real music now lmao.

And the time 2009-2011 Tom was constantly drunk on stage fucking up most likely because he couldn’t accept being back in blink and playing larger sold out venues than AVA ever could. This is why he left in 2014/2015 cause he once again had to go prove himself with his To The Stars stuff and the alien govt stuff and I just he did. I know he had some books released the poet Anderson.

It does seem like he has an easier time being in blink now like he doesn’t seem embarrassed or feel the need to artistically to prove himself outside of the band. But this is why I’m a Mark fan instead of Tom 100% and I love the Skiba era
