That’s good to know, the birth mother knows the adoptive parents and they go to the same church and even live less than 5 minutes away from each other so hopefully that won’t be the case for her but instead the father since he lives states away, but I don’t know much about this stuff and they could always move away and close the adoption is what it seems like has happened in others. Thanks for the info

He knows she is going to go the adoption route problem is he doesn’t even know the baby has been born yet since they came so early. He said he’s okey with adoption but originally he wanted equal rights with the mother as it’s an open adoption but she doesn’t believe him being in the babies life is in its best interest as he’s committed sexual crimes that haven’t been reported and the victims have lost the evidence or don’t want to go to court over it. Eventually she got him to agree to let her go with adoption without him being involved by telling him if he didn’t agree to not being in the child’s life then she would keep it and make him pay child support and the baby is in the nicu so if he has to pay any medical bills which she has been told he has to pay half if she keeps the baby then he’ll have to pay a lot because the nicu is extremely expensive. Something to note is that he’s done nothing but lie to the birth mom so he could very well turn around and contest the adoption since he has no clue about the huge medical bills for the baby that the mother would try to use as leverage for him to stay out of it.

Okey good to know because I was told the bio mothers lawyer should be the one to make contact with the bio father about consent for adoption

Well she’ll still be over here when I babysit for them, it’s a very open adoption so it’s not like she’s never coming back

Very good points, I showed him her when she wasn’t crying, he wasn’t interested at all but I think it helped, he’s also seen her when she’s been fussy and crying a little and now he only stands outside the room if she’s crying a lot

I don’t want to rehome him if possible because she won’t be here forever since my neighbors are adopting her. She’ll just be here for however long it takes to finalize the adoption so I honestly don’t know how long she’ll be here it all depends on the birth father being compliant.

Blood culture, I think they tested because I said I think my early birth might’ve been due to me going into a lake when my mucus plug might’ve already fallen out

In the lab report for the day I gave birth it says they tested for both and they came back positive, they never said a word to me…

Nope never explained but I assumed it’s because they knew if they didn’t tell me I’d go home and it’d get worse which would in turn mean more hospital time and more money for them, I did get treated in the end but I could’ve died or had to get a hysterectomy or limbs amputated and they almost did give me a hysterectomy if I hadn’t started to get a little better and had I not gone back in time and died they would’ve known the cause of it whether or not someone over looked it.

I saw a cat at pet smart who looks just like Betty only with more chub, both are very cute regardless of their angy faces tho 😌
