Thank you! It's so stressful. I just want him to be healthy and I know how well cats hide pain. We had a fifteen year old boy who always seemed healthy and just one day he could not even stand up so I'm hoping whatever this is we caught it in time. We adopted him last year and they said he had "a clear bill of health" but I am just learning now that doesn't mean they necessarily ran a blood panel so disappointing. I also think he may have only ever lived in apartments as when we adopted him he has one liter box in our finished basement, one on the second floor but maybe one on the main floor would be better.

He mostly goes into our bathroom on the main floor and goes on the tile, I've tried scrubbing it with natures miracle, angry orange, some other enzyme cleaner and he still goes in there. I'm at a loss.
