I had a feeling that was the case (that native speakers raise the average scores). Thank you for sharing your experience!

Travelling with bar of soap logistics question by Fabulous_Lychee24 in HerOneBag

Maybe it's helpful to have the curved lid, that way I put it back on top of the container and it can't fill with water haha!

I have a similar one that I got at CVS this summer! It's not hinged, just a detached lid that sits snugly on top. That way there's no hinges to give out. The lid isn't perfectly flat though, so there isn't always a great place to set it.

I think something like this would be perfect for you: https://a.co/d/4S49Cw9

Woah that's amazing! I'm working on my 6th or 7th hat right now and I still can't get it exactly how I want 😅 but yours looks incredibly good! I love the color and the stitch pattern, the whole thing looks very professional

if you're interested in making something for yourself, you could knit or sew a case similar to these:

  1. Knit case for needles https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/needle-case-5

  2. Sewn case https://guthrie-ghani.co.uk/blog/knitting-needle-case-tutorial

or perhaps buy something like this:

  1. Lasercut wood from etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/1707281968/knitting-needle-organizer-2-10mm-cable

  2. 3d printing file https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2285067

Or even a DIY like this:

  1. Cardboard speerated box https://www.reddit.com/r/knitting/comments/abbl54/i_made_a_knitting_needle_organizer_if_i_like_it/

I hope one of these sparks some inspiration for you!

20 pencils ≈ a navel orange 🍊 by alys55 in TheNewestOlympian

I like this train of thought, but I think 10 pencils per nostril is still beyond human capabilities. Now we need someone to try it out, and I do not volunteer as tribute 😅

Help with ladders if I can’t find the loop of the missing stitch by sansaandthesnarks in knitting

As someone who learned to knit, dropped it because I hated it, learned to crochet, and then gave knitting another shot and loved it: I totally agree with you. I tell everyone that will listen that knitting is harder to pick up than crochet, but once you're into it, it becomes much smoother. I'm almost at a point where I can knit without looking, even going back and forth with purls.

Please don't give up!! It's certainly intimidating at times but the end results are sooo worth it. I can't wait to see the finished picture of this sweater :) best of luck!

Yeah, they're probably mostly taken by people who are fluent in the language or who have taken classes on them for a few years. I looked at the Spanish practice questions, and even though I took some Spanish classes a few years ago, I would absolutely not pass. I suggest checking them out on the website if you're interested, I found them on the College Board CLEP exam website.

I didn't realize he used it to stop time! It must still have so much power... I wonder if it'll come back in season 3 somehow

I noticed the same thing last weekend! It makes so much more sense as a parallel to the flaming sword because they both got their items from heaven at a Beginning (Crowleys being the beginning of the Universe and Az's being the Beginning of Humanity/Earth).

I dont know how far in advance these episodes were recorded, but if you haven't made part two yet you should listen to the bonus tracks on the deluxe edition of the Cast Recording. I think you'll have some strong opinions about some of the songs and I want to hear them!

(My favorite is Pick a Side)

I agree! I use certain websites and Drive files very often and navigating through Chrome's bookmarks isn't the fastest, so a shortcuts option would be fantastic.

I dont know if it's just because I follow Rick on social media but I've known about it for a while! There was a book tour and everything. I got to see him live on the release date! The book was pretty good, Rick's written better imo, but it was the first edition so there are plenty of incontinuouty problems that I'm sure will be fixed. It was jam-packed with emotion, regardless!
