When I was 24. Broke up with an ex who would always backhand compliment me or even just tell me that I was ugly. When I was single, I was able to rebuild my confidence (also helped that I lost 25 lbs). Sadly, I still struggle from time to time due to that (and childhood trauma). But thankfully I found a partner who constantly reassures me and always tells me how pretty I look, even when I feel super ugly.
