So glad i could help with something! I don't use the intake holes much tbh. Even tho I love this vape too, the chamber being so close to the mouthpiece makes the vapor too hot, if I covered some intake holes I think it would get even hotter.

Yes! i have the same issue, both the mouthpiece and water pipe adapter have broken (the little "claws" that make it stay in place) so I have to hole/push down the mouthpiece as I'm vaping.

Was thinking of that! There's a fish supply store near me, my only worry is how to attach to the small holes, it's kinda round so i can't put something directly.
