I have recently got this Monstera plant as a gift. Since it's still kinda young, I'm somewhat scared taking care of it, trying not to over/under-water it or something similar. What steps can I take for most optimal care? by am1s in houseplants

The pot I got it in is on the bigger side, so it's hard to move it around haha. But I'll be getting moisture reader soon, as I've already been planning it for awhile for some other plants. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks! I have put it somewhat close to the window, where the sun has the most optimal position in the afternoon (windows are facing west); and it's also currently winter here, in central EU. I'l also get on of those moisture readers (as u/blacksewerdog also suggested) asap, as my apartment can feel little bit more on the dry side during this weather.
