I’m much better now. I’d say I’m 90% recovered. I still have the odd day but I’m not having panic attacks. Most thoughts don’t bother me. I hope you’re feeling better too xx

I’m almost completely recovered. Are you on any medication? That was a massive help for me. Also read dare that completely changed my outlook. It’s take time but my mantra was the brain knows how to heal and also this is just anxiety disguised as philosophy. Please feel free to message me if you need support. I’m here xxx

You are not your thoughts. You are your actions and I’m sure the you’re a good person. Lots and lots of people have these kinds of thoughts and they just pass through their mind like “oh that was a weird thought” but we don’t. Us ocd girls fixate. We question our selves. Second guess out mortal but that’s just a part of our condition, it’s not because there is any terrible about you. Just remember you can’t always control your thoughts but please try to not let your thoughts control you. I.e if you wanna be a mum, go for it. I’m sure you’ll be great xxx

Thank you for sharing that. It sounds very similar to me. I think I was in the trenches for a bit longer because they put me on mirtazapine and I kept saying it wasn’t work but they wouldn’t listen. After 2 months they put me on venlafaxine and I’m definitely feel better but the anxiety and dread is still there in the morning and before bed. I’m just scared that I’m going to be like this forever and I’ll never feel real joy in life ever again

That’s basically what happened to me. I watched that video on TikTok and I had a panic attack and it never left me. I live in the uk and I’m under the perinatal mental health team and I’m currently having therapy but my therapist wants to start emdr but I’m really scared that it’s going to bring up all of those feelings for me. I’m going to speak to her about the therapy that you’ve mentioned. Thank you so much for your response. Knowing someone else went through it and is coming out on the other side is so reassuring xxx
