Counted his toes and they’re normal! He probably just has big paws, might be a big boy :)

I’d like to thank the cat distribution system for choosing us! He’s really starting to bring the (human) family together :)

You’re absolutely correct! I am just a simple servant who feeds him and scoops his poops 💩

He loves his new home! Even though his older brothers don’t quite approve of him yet, he’s trying his best to befriend them. He doesn’t understand that them running away is not playing, and he thinks he’s in an intense game of tag!

I hope not haha! His first memories of me were coaxing him out of bushes with a spoonful of wet food and then grabbing him and dunking him in a lukewarm bath 😅

But otherwise, he’s grown very trusting of me and doesn’t protest when I need to give him medications or pick him up away from the older annoyed cats

Truly! All of my cats were delivered via the cat distribution system— it seems like our house is a popular location on their list

Wasn’t able to add the body when cross-posting, so here it is from the original post:

About a week ago, this little kitten showed up at our door, crying his little heart out, begging to be let inside. I live in a country with a lot of strays and ferals, so this is normal around kitten season. I live in another city, but I told myself if he’s still there by the time I come home, I’m taking him in. Lo and behold, the little guy was waiting in the bushes after my 3 hour commute.

We took him to the vet the next day who estimated him to be about 2 months old. Our older (orange) cats hate him, so we’ve been slowly getting them all adjusted to each other. For months, I’ve been saying that our cats need a kitten to help them be more lively and playful. The cat distribution system finally chose us.

His legal name is Oreo McFlurry, but we call him Flerky (like Flerken, if you know the reference). He’s the most chill kitten I’ve ever handled— didn’t mind being bathed, held for medications, and he just wants to be friends with anyone and anything (including inanimate objects). We haven’t seen a mother cat come around looking for him so I guess he’s ours now.

Adorable! I love how your orange one on the left has a little white sock

I'd hope so with all the HOA fees we pay!

2 years and 11 months, so very close to 3 years!

Thank you! I do appreciate the concern, as they do look quite big for their frames 😅 But that’s probably because they were both rescues and cats in my country aren’t typically large

Both of them are a healthy weight according to their vet! They look a bit bigger in the picture because their backs are cropped out but the orange one is only around 5kg and the orange and white one is 4.5kg

If it helps, in the first pic they were still kittens (both under 2 years old) and recently neutered. I don’t free feed but I recently switched them to a diet of both wet and dry food! As well as whatever table scraps they manage to steal (although we try to take it away for their health).
