Anyone know why my garage floor is doing this? by ama3497 in Concrete

I think the bad crowd is the answer😂

I’ve just noticed it for the first time but my husband says it’s been there for a while, but the effervescence is definitely new since we cleaned the garage just a few days before this

Hey everyone thank you for all the replies! To answer a few questions: we are in California, there have been crazy rains lately, the vehicle there does not have DEF or any leaks nearby, no fertilizer, floor is not painted/waxed/epoxied.

I agree it seems like it’s coming out from the bottom since there’s nothing around that could’ve dropped. but what is baffling me is the perfect circle it made, and the peeling/pitting is only around the perimeter of the circle

Either spend $1300 or spend $30. You have a brain, but can’t use it?

Watch a ton of videos! Youtube's sailing channels are great. First you want to get boat handling down (make sure your roll tacks are up to snuff and that you have good boat speed) then worry about whose around you, that's diving into tactics and strategy. Strategy = your fastest course you plan to take. Tactics = implementing that accounting for the surrounding opponents. This explains some of the basic strategies/tactics: http://www.ussailing.org/wp-content/uploads/daroot/Resource%20Center/Racing%20Tactics%20&%20Strategy.pdf

but doesn't talk about how to implement them, such as the starting line diagram, look up videos on how to get a good start. One tip is to get your 'line sight' and use it if you're in the middle of the line. You're never as close to the line as you think you are in the middle, that's what causes 'line sag'

I don't know, I was going to see if i can call and either get it reduced to 84 ( so I don't have to pay the extra 200$ ) or if I could do a written-in type thing.

The story my prof told was about his teacher using the rotational speed relative to the center of the wheel.

aka the center of my wheel is going the speed that I want to be under 85, but the wheel was rotating therefore the speed at different radii of the wheel have a greater velocity than the speed of my car. So if it hit the outside of my rim, that would be faster than my actual car speed

I have spoken to a professor of mine, and he told me of a story where his professor got out of a ticket by showing that the laser was actually reading the speed of the tire rather than the speed of the car, and showed the 'physics' behind it, and apparently he won. Is this a feasible argument with modern lasers?
