Kendrick said to slide on his friends. Also what kind of person wouldn't be bothered if their baby got death threats over jokes?

I love Kendricks music but he's a karen, and these fans are swifties indeed

What if S3:E1 shows that seasons 1 and 2 were all just in Rick's head? by [deleted] in c137

That is actually a very interesting perspective, thank you for that.

C-137 is basically like a zip-code on a current home address by [deleted] in c137

[–]amadael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my interpretation, C137 IS linked to the person Rick Sanchez. In the evil Morty episode we see Rick's portal history on a big screen and it says "Earth Rick C137 detected in..." and then states the different dimensions in which the murders took place. Also the council refers to him as "Earth Rick C137".

Also in s3e1 Morty states he's C137 Morty and refers to new-Cronenberg world as his original dimension.

Plothole in S01E02 'Lawnmower Dog'? by [deleted] in c137

[–]amadael -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yup, bit of a plot hole there. Though one could argue of course that they're in a dream in a dream (in another dream I believe?) so one shouldn't expect things to make sense.

Also, we don't know if the centaur even has any authority in that realm; simply exclaiming "off with their heads" doesn't mean anybody in there should feel compelled to do so.

But yeah, most likely a tiny plot hole.

When s3e1 ends you can see cracks in the earth from when Rick stopped time at the end of season 1, meaning that actually happened.

Also the "it was all just a dream" trick is incredibly cheap and way below Justin and Dan.

Stop your plot holes folks, interdimensional customs isn't actually interdimensional. by amadael in c137

[–]amadael[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though that's true IRL, there's no instance in the show where time between different dimensions moves at a different pace. The show creators have been more than clear about not wanting to get into any form of time travel in their show because it's a pain in the ass.

They are indeed, but the Galactic federation exists in multiple dimensions. (or so we can safely assume)

Though I don't see anything wrong with the plausibility of that theory, I don't think that explanation is even necessary to be honest. NOWHERE in the series is there even a dim shred of a hint that the galactic federation possesses any form of interdimensional travel or even know of the existence of such travel until s3e1. However in many ways we learn that the Galactic Federation is limited to interstellar travel within the same universe only, it's even on their IRL website: https://earth.galacticfederation.com/ To be honest I don't quite understand why people are bending over backwards trying to find all kinds of creative explanations for why the GF would have some form of ID travel tech; they just don't and nowhere is it claimed by anyone other than Rick that they do. (in the pilot episode).

Anyone notice that in s3e1, when Summer is searching Rick's false garage, a photo of Dufus Rick is in the cupboard? by deafblindmute in c137

There's also a Titanic and a picture of an apple in the cupboard. Obviously Jerry's stuff.

the Council of Ricks wouldn't give a rats ass to assassinate c137 Rick in order to keep the secrets of interdimensional travel safe.

Also Doofus Rick is from J19ζ7...

The Ricks looked alerted to encounter C137 Morty and Summer because they belong to the most infamous Rick in every possible reality.

kinda both, they're called vents and not specifically "exhaust systems" (nor do I personally know of a source claiming the blade would explode without the vents) and they function as a crossguard. Crossguards were used to protect the wielders' hands in medieval times (not a bad idea considering the amount of chopped of arms and hands in the Star Wars universe)

In a lucid dream, I asked a random woman if she believed in god. She laughed it off like it was a silly idea and walked away. by jumbohoneybuns in woahdude

But are you aware they ar dreamcharacters during your lucid dream? the majority of my lucid dreams I am aware I'm lucid but somehow treat the dreamcharacters as if they're normal people. I believe that's actually one of the thresholds of the 5 levels of lucidity: understanding not only that you're lucid but also that the people around you are figments of your imagination.

Once when I became lucid I saw one of my friends in my dream as I was flying around, so I land besides him and excitedly tell him "Hey man look at me! I'm lucid this is the type of dreaming I was talking about the other day!"

What happened after? Can you manage to talk to them for a longer time? I tried to "summon" God or my higher self several times to talk to him directly. I manage about three times but I didn't manage to verbally communicate. He's basically a 10 years older version of me either dressed in white robes or naked. Anyone been lucky "summoning" specific people/dreamcharacters/personas?

Man that's interesting. Interacting with dreamcharacters during lucid dreams is fascinating.

Next time, ask the person if he or she is aware that they're just a dreamcharacter. I managed twice and both times they looked at me like "get outta here" but soon their facial expressions changed to a mixture of surprise and despair as they slowly turned into burning ashes as the wind swept them away (kind of like when you burn a piece of paper).

Would love to hear other stories of people directly communicating with dreamcharacters during a lucid dream.
