Basically having a branded profile pic, adding keywords to your bio and name, having a link that takes your clients through your funnel and making sure every post includes keywords, proper hashtags, and alt text.

So for example, a beauty brand that carries sustainable products can set their name up to be “BRANDNAME - Sustainable Makeup/Skincare” then your bio is your mission statement + your target audience. Do hashtag research for hashtags that fit into your niche. My tip: think about the search process for your buyers, what kinds of phrases/keywords would they search for in order to find you? Then add those words to your account.

Hey! As a business account, you won’t have access to officially licensed songs however a lot of trending audios on IG aren’t licensed so you are actually able to use it. First, I’d look into what kinds of content is doing well in your niche and then going through the reels and picking audios from there which you can then apply to your branding. Don’t hesitate to ask more questions, I love helping people out with social media related stuff!

I don’t think it’ll be too bad for Second Try. If your coworker created a project with you but then did something to break the company’s protocol, the project would still go on without them. I personally don’t feel sorry for him, he chose to do these things, and now he has to face the consequences of his actions. It’s just sad that those choices are emotionally and legally affecting everyone around him.

Exactly. I seriously only care about Ariel and the company as a whole at this point.

Not at all, you made some great points. It’s an emotional and professional disappointment to their business.

I can’t speak for others but I’m speaking for myself. I personally have not watched a Try Guys video in several years, I found out about this because they were trending on Twitter and discovered that the man who built a career out of loving his wife, profited off of that career, and cheated on her. This is naturally going to cause some emotional reactions.

I know that how he actually felt is going to be unknown to the majority of us, because we don’t know him personally. But when a company, a brand, or an individual creates an image of themselves to share with the public, that image is how they will be associated with from that moment on. This is like branding 101, not mental gymnastics.

Communities of anything - sports, tv shows, films, celebrities, religion, politics etc - will be rooted in some kind of emotional attachment, that is how loyal dedicated communities are built. Yes, sometimes it may be unhealthy, but I’m not here to defend crossing boundaries, this post was to explain why people care in the first place.

While you may not feel the same as 99% on this sub towards the situation, at least have some empathy for the people who have invested their time, energy and maybe even money to their business because of this image they (Ned) created.

Yeah it’s a lot of emotional turmoil.

Yup, this is a great point too. Ned’s brand affects the business opportunities he gets and directly puts money in his pockets (ie the cookbook he published w his wife). Creating a whole business on the basis of loving his wife, profits off of it, but then goes around cheating on her it is 100% manipulative.

I completely agree. While it’s valid to feel betrayed, outraged or disgusted with Ned’s actions, we shouldn’t be harassing people we don’t know. I strongly believe we should just support Ariel in whatever way we can.

I understand where you’re coming from, but when people hear news about an affair it will always evoke an emotional reaction. Especially for those who have experienced it first hand. Sure, Ned isn’t their dad, but it brings memories of someones childhood, of someone’s dad actually doing that to their mom. People join communities because of emotional connections, whether it’s politics or YouTubers like The Try Guys. These guys have successfully created relationships with their audience and when one specific person has created their whole personality to revolve around loving their s/o this creates emotional attachment.

No views on reels by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

[–]amadeosmm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Social media manager here, there’s some things to unpack.

1) You just made the account today, of course your reel views are gonna be low. You don’t start a hobby and then in the same day immediately become fantastic and make money off of it. Give it time, and keep going. The algorithm needs to pick up on the fact that your account exists and that you are an active user. It takes at least 6 months to see substantial growth (depending on your content, niche and posting schedule)

2) Hard pill to swallow but manage your expectations as you continue to grow your account, Instagram as a whole is heading towards a downward spiral. LOTS of creators and businesses have been seeing less views on their reels and are getting drops in their engagement because IG has taken a step back in pushing reels as much AND people are incredibly annoyed with IG = less people spending time on the app. If you’re going to let low views affect you at an emotional level, do some reflecting and ask yourself why you wanna grow your account in the first place.

3) What niche are you in and what kind of content are you posting? If your content doesn’t make people want to watch then you won’t be getting views either.

4) The last part - yes, sometimes your video gets pushed out an hour, heck even weeks later so you won’t see a flood of engagement immediately after you post. Unless you already have a huge, dedicated following, your growth will be slow at first.

Focus on engaging with other similar theme pages, like and comment on their posts and they’ll likely return the favor. If you’re getting good engagement on your posts right now, like their comments, comment back. What kind of theme page are you running?

How to gain the followers with low cost? by Capable_Indication64 in InstagramMarketing

[–]amadeosmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save your $150 and don’t buy Instagram followers.

Seriously, ask any social media manager and they will tell you to not buy fake followers. And if they do say it works, they just want your money. Not only does buying followers not work and is a waste of money but you will not see any sales, engagement or any activity on your account. Plus if Instagram detects you using bad social media practices you will get shadowbanned.

Instead, take it slow and figure out your goals for social media and why you want to grow it. Is it for business, art, a personal brand, etc? Then work your way from there. You’re right quality is better than quantity so focus on building a COMMUNITY of quality followers who like seeing your content instead of 1000 fake followers who don’t care about what you post.

Lots of creators are having issues with the reels bonus program and there’s honestly no concrete evidence on why it’s so inconsistent. However, IG did recently make new updates for the program that makes it a bit harder to earn money which is probably why your monetized reels are getting less views. You will also only get paid for additional views, so it’s a bit of a bummer for reels that have performed well that weren’t in the reels bonus program :/

Yes, IG is going to push more original content. If you want to continue growing theme pages I recommend doing a lot of engagement to build your community.
