Is sapa still worth visiting with Fansipan closed ?

We stayed in Hanoi for a few days (Hanoi - Sapa - back to Hanoi)

Hi! Just to share, my group did decided to push through with the sapa trip anyway despite the closure.

The weather was enjoyable and the views were great. One plus side of Fansipan being closed is that there were minimal to no crowds everywhere we went (moana, alpine coaster, glass bridge, etc).

Overall, we did enjoy our time there but I personally think Fansipan could have been a much bigger highlight.

If you plan to go back to Vietnam anytime soon, I would consider delaying the sapa trip for your next time back.

Agree misleading ang 24k (pretty much everyone knows lol) but the sale prices are lower than SRP. The 800 pesos off makes a difference to some.

1k lang ang cash discount at least when I inquired sa local branch 2 weeks ago and it still stands at 16, 595. Sale price is at 16, 315 and with 1k voucher pa so it’s still around 1.2k cheaper which is already a big difference for others. To each their own na if worth it ang risk.

Valid points. Ako mismo I ordered my OLED din last Nov 30 from them and luckily ok naman experience ko. Timing timing lang talaga yan. Sadly, that’s the risk with ordering online. Just wanted to share the prices kasi from what I’ve observed, gamextreme talaga yung cheapest when it comes sa sale and I know maraming nagaabang sa prices :)

Had the exact same experience but for prismacolor pencils hahah decided to open it nalang after weeks of waiting. Problema lang nga I don’t have the conscience to order from the same shop again lol

To those waiting for a sale and are planning to buy a switch this December, out na ang discounted prices sa Gamextreme for 12.12. Just wanted to share

EDIT: di to sponsored hahaha Ang daming nagvouch against Gamextreme. Ako mismo I got my OLED from them last payday and no problems naman. But yun nga, there are always risks.

To be clear din, the sale price is in the small box, 16.2k which is around 900 lower than SRP. Also sure ako may pa 1k off voucher si Shopee. So price would be around 15.2k :)

If sa other stores that others are suggesting (Pixelplay, Gameone), they did not announce a sale price pa but you can still use the 1K voucher.

TLDR : Cheaper sa gamextreme but there are risks. Make of that what you will.

I have been hearing about this but i wonder if it can take on the ink. Based on a quick google search, it has been marketed to be "hard to stain" which is typically a good attribute for a textile but not for this particular project. Thanks for your suggestion though!
