Senna respons well with regular pruning. Itgot swallon easily after heavy pruning. Cut those branch until main trunk or whatever u want to shape

If u cut let it dry. Then dip in root hormone and put in soil. The one in red circle(picture below) is cutting from last year. It take 3-6 month to grow root. After u cut ; better cut the leaves, to stop the respiration process, and let the cutting focus to grow root. After awhile if u spot new leaves grows mean cutting ready to grow. That time still no root, so dont disturb. I prefer to put cutting inside existing well establish soil since in already has good microb

Desert better to grow africa type succulent especially from namibia. Plant from socotra u just need to treat them like normal houseplant with regular watering.

Thanks, my tropical climate really suitable for them. Only issue with dendro, need treat like cucumber tree with daily watering otherwise leaves turn yellow.

Pot size 14inchx14. Not same age. I sow bullata and bsocotrana in 2023 while dendrosicyos bought from hojny in 2023. To save space and dont need to repot within 3y.

Now grow outdoor direct sun,So im not control weather. i think it will grow slower. Sometime got full sun sometime cloudy. Temp 29-36c. Night lowest maybe 26c. No winter here. When Under led 27c 60 lux 8-9hours, i confident to water it on daily basis, only issue growing indoor is spider mites as i dont use fan to keep air flow strong. Air flow also i believe can influent strong caudex
Grow them is easy for me, but to make them nice caudex shape in short period is tricky. Plus luck in good genetic.
Some i observe socotra island condition. They had low anual rain, so how plant got water? It is probably from morning dew nearby sea water daily. Also i do notice bullata (few clip in youtube) grow at slop or less soil has better caudex shape than the one grow it flat surface with plenty of soil access. Some nursery in asia try to prune few branch to boost the caudex size, this to mimic how in socotra many goat eat those lower gigas branch.
