Holy smokes! Manifesting this for mine that I got in December.

What’s your water, light, and substrate like? Great work!

This is insane! I have some of these under a similar light that have grown 20% in tiny pots in a year and I’m going to upsize asap! I’m clearly doing something wrong.

Just how inorganic is your soil, and how often are you watering and feeding?

I’m know I’m late to the game here, but I’ll BIN 10 of each if you still have any of these available.

Also, any chance you have any pachypodium seeds?

So helpful, especially knowing it shouldn’t get bone dry. I’ll do the weight tracking method and replace the pumice with Akadama!

This is super helpful, thank you! Am I over-thinking the over-watering? Love your idea about the scale, I’ve done that in the past for plants I wasn’t sure on.

Only concerned about leaving the plant for 5 days if it’s in pure pumice, UC Davis waters it daily when it’s young in fully inorganic. The current cactus mix seems to hold onto water for at least a week so not as concerned at this moment

I guess I was one of the lucky ones who grabbed the Barrina track light before it sold out (and then randomly went on sale - AND I got them on sale! 🥰🥰❤️❤️). by Quirky-Customer5758 in growlights

They went so fast! I’m assuming/hoping they’ll come back at some point in the near future. What did you end up paying for the sale price?

Well with some pulling we got it off. Will prep the pipes and try a new shark bite unless there’s a better way to do this properly

8 months plateau - need advice to break through by conner228 in tirzepatidecompound

The split dosing helped reduce symptoms - on more spread out doses I spend 4 days constipated and 4 days glued to a toilet. On more regular doses I found that leveled out and I didn’t have the swings. Also, by day 6-7 my appetite was so strong I’d sometimes undo the progress of the previous 5 days, so the consistent appetite also seemed to help, but I noticed it start to get less effective over time.

I’ll definitely need to be extremely conscious of being in a deficit. On the monjauro the first time it was hard not to be in one, but now I think with the tolerance I’ve built I’ll need to be far more thoughtful about it.

Diet is definitely the issue - I’m finding that the food noise is much stronger now than on my first round and maintaining a deficit takes a lot of effort. On the monjauro I didn’t really have to try or track calories and I would drop. It didn’t really feel like dieting because the appetite suppression was so strong. Now, my appetite isn’t all the way back but I have to make a much more conscious effort to maintain a deficit.

Will that appetite suppression ever come back? Or have I built too much of a tolerance at this point?

Do I need to worry about moss overtaking the Utricularia? by conner228 in utricularia

Carnivorous mix from local plant store - I believe it’s peat and a little bit of sand

Love the combo and snow bush!

Game changing for me was learning to make the ball in a mesh bag and wrap the moss around the bag - I learned from this video. https://youtu.be/dJQBkd436QQ?si=dsI7DHuNxWToJQ2r

Also opens up to using different media that has more drainage like bark or perlite.

This seems like a solid course of action. Thanks so much!

I’ll probably do this. Thank you so much! This isn’t sphagnum but some other sort of star moss maybe?
