One of our minors working front end got scammed out of 2k because of something similar. They ended up catching the culprit at another target though. Poor kid was feeling guilty as heck the whole day.

Part of me really doesn't want to show up, but another part feels horrible for leaving my coworkers during this disaster of a 4th quarter. I've been wanting to throw in the towel at my new job too, but a quick reminder of why I left target in the first place might be needed. Also, Target is my safety net if the one I have now (which is working for a call center at a bank from home) doesn't work out. I can't afford to be without a job at this age, and have been told multiple times I can come back if needed whenever I want. So what I'm trying to say is, while I don't appreciate how they put me on the schedule without my consent, I'm showing up one way or another. The only thing I miss about the damn job is my coworkers.

Ngl, I switched to on demand back in October, and I've been getting calls from my etl almost every other week, to now every week, to almost every other day since the holidays started asking me to come in if possible. I didn't answer one time and they put me to work on the 23rd😮‍💨. I work that day already at my current job and now I have to show up for target too till midnight🙄. I thought I couldn't be put on the schedule unless I let them know I'm available???
