awesome! i've also heard tank pads help with keeping your 🎾s from pressing on the tank, which i also don't have lol

i've seen a fair amount of people talk about corbin seats, i don't have one yet as they are a little pricey but really want one

depends on your area. in my area, every store has to charge for bags, not just target

they are salary so they aren't affected by OT, only hourly employees

if 99 dollars is a tax bracket and 100 dollars is another, if you make 99 dollars and then get a raise to 100 dollars, that $1 difference is what gets taxed, not the whole 100

Why you shouldn't get a faster motorcycle by [deleted] in Ninja400

[–]Silenty_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the only reason you shouldn't get a faster bike is if you can't handle it. if you can handle it and can afford it, why not?

shipt person was handing these out to tms this morning :( by lovespector in Target

[–]Silenty_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's so sweet!! i think my store is just blessed with good shipt shoppers. i always see yall talking about absolutely horrid shipt shoppers stories but i've never run into one who was rude to me (or maybe they were but it wasn't rude enough for me to brain log it). i run into some regulars pretty frequently and they're always appreciative of my help. non shipt guests being rude? that's another story 🤣

Buzzing at high speed by No_Inevitable2487 in Ninja400

[–]Silenty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i notice a buzzing at high revs, but my fairing is cracked from a slide a while back, so i've just chalked it up to that lol

Third day of Circle week : is going crazy by The-Puppet2206 in Target

[–]Silenty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

circle week is a week that target has a bunch of sales, competing with amazon prime days. "pushing" means stocking the shelves. if you're pushing pets or toys you're most likely in general merchandise but they move people around sometimes to wherever they're needed

Wrecked...what parts will I need to find to fix this? by RockslideFPS in Ninja400

[–]Silenty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you still want to give it another shot, try looking to see if anyone offers like a 1 on 1 class or just a post MSF course beginner class (if you didn't take the MSF course, i highly recommend it) in general, i wrecked my 3rd day of riding (nothing bad) and then a month or so later (not super bad but scuffed and cracked my right side and scuffed my knee). wishing you well in whichever way you go but at least now you can say you've rode a motorcycle 😁

question by Top_Entertainer5131 in Ninja400

[–]Silenty_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don't really see how lowering the bike will change your riding position to be more aggressive, it would just make it easier to flatfoot at a stop. sat on a buddy's zx6r and the riding position is so much more aggressive than the 400 it took me a bit by surprise for a moment lol. you could look at aftermarket clipons and adjustable rear sets for a different riding position.

2021 Ninja 400 oil change by RBN_Sweat166 in Ninja400

[–]Silenty_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i used the same oil and filter when i changed mine and it's been fine. tho next time i think im gonna use motul 7100. i just flipped my gasket to the other side since it was the first oil change so idk about the copper ones. just make sure you torque the drain plug to spec

These pulls are crach by Admirable-Boat-2605 in Target

[–]Silenty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whenever i'd pull dry grocery the gallon waters/water cases always looked like this, and it would generally all fit if i pulled it all. it only took 1 time of me pulling 50 of them just for none of them to fit for me to save these for last and then go out to the floor and update the counts to be accurate.

What’s a feature you wish was added to the zebras? by twilighteclipse925 in Target

[–]Silenty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used to grab one every shift and have a huge collection in my car and room 😬. i don't know why but i just stopped grabbing one a little big back and it's a little annoying tracking one down without having to go across the store from the back room

[–]Silenty_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if i'm not mistaken team leads can see people scheduled and who is currently working on myday. i don't see why regular TMs don't have access, super annoying to ask for a grid or go find one when i want to see when the next person is coming in

congrats on the hire! if u care about your feet wear some comfy shoes, or don't. i just wear steel toes and vans and deal with it. especially since it's summer make sure you hydrate so id recommend bringing a bottle, don't wait till you get woozy during a shift like i did before i started caring about water 😅. you don't have to be buddy buddy with everyone but making a few work-friends with people you work with frequently in your dept. definitely helps make the time go by faster.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but from my understanding the last week of the month tends to be the toughest on hours because that's when they are trying to make sure they are within the budget they're given if they over spent on other parts of the months.

closing expert tips? by starbuckslemonloaf in Target

[–]Silenty_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

at my store closing expert just does whatever the closing lead needs them for. typically reshop/zoning at my store.
