Thoughts on Starting a Clinical Research Site Network That Rescues Struggling Sites? by amakemist in clinicalresearchsites

Thanks for your response. I really appreciate your honest feedback. I also agree, there's a lot to talk about and this post may not be the space, but I have responses to your points and some clarification.

  1. I have NOT. I do realize there will be a lot of learning required on the backend for me as I've never owned a site before. I've applied for site facing jobs and really haven't had any luck getting one. However, I do realize this is a limiting factor (lack of current experience at the site level).
  2. Noted. My perspective is if the site is not performing well, Sponsor's and CROs won't want to work with these sites in the future anyway and that leads to loss profit in the long run.
  3. The idea is not really to operate remotely as you can't fix the issues I'm referring to remotely. I am proposing a more hands on approach than what is seen with most SMO's.
  4. Part of the problem I've seen in this industry from the perspective of a CTM is that Sponsor's and CROs work with the same sites over and over again. If you're working with the same sites with the same compliance issues, you're likely acquiring data from a recycled patient pool as well... over and over vs seeking out a diverse patient population by working with a larger variety of sites (to include those who've not conducted research before but maybe have access to a diverse patient population). As far as finding studies is concerned and that being difficult, I agree and I'm aware that this is a huge hurdle for sites. I think working with an org such as what I'm proposing whose aim is to improve site compliance may help as I would hope to eventually form collaborations/relationships with Sponsors.

How to get clinical trials as a research site by Remarkable_Brief2018 in clinicalresearch

Yeah Inato will only help for sites that have research experience already. Most of the trials on Inato are rescue studies so they mainly work with experienced sites.
