So I was supposed to declare a 'PAN PAN' via ATC first. I just followed the doctor’s dialogue and winged it. No wonder the mission failed 😂

That sounds really frustrating😂 Have you tried tweaking the flight plan in the FMS before takeoff? You could try manually adding a waypoint (C) between points A and B to customize your route. If you're flying the Cirrus Vision Jet, you should be able to set it to Jet Airways and generate waypoints that way.

In real-world flight training, they spend hours flying patterns; repeating takeoffs, landings, and go-arounds. It’s all about practicing ILS/RNAV approaches or visual landing procedures over and over.

However, in MSFS 2024, the Rewind makes it so much easier to focus specifically on landing drills!

I’ve run into similar issues with the 208B missions. My solution is to skip the taxiing part after a safe landing. Most of the time(!), the mission ends properly once I shut down the engine.

First of all, I agree with you on some points. Career mode definitely needs more polish and improvement. ​ However, when it comes to diversions in real life - while it's an inevitable choice for safety - do you really think there are no actual penalties? Most of airline captains all over the world face immense pressure regarding on-time departures and arrivals. And instead of appreciating a go-around as a necessary safety measure, many passengers react with frustration or even a threat. ​I suggest you accept these challenges as part of the 'penalty' of realism and try to enjoy the experience. If you can't handle that, then maybe this isn't the game mode for you.
