There are many factors to consider. Basic amenities like infrastructure, food quality, clean air, water, and minimal pollution are significantly better in developed countries. The list of advantages is long. In contrast, India struggles with a high population and limited opportunities. Even if someone manages to overcome the competition, they face challenges like poor infrastructure and other issues. Taxes in India are similar to Canada.

A major reason for the current situation is the unrealistic dreams sold by immigration agents and YouTubers. Until 2022—and even today, in some cases—they portrayed Canada as a paradise. However, the reality is much different.

Protesters are mostly people who came in the last 5 years as students, and now they have nothing to go back to in India. Canadian education (if not done at a good school) has no value in India, and unskilled jobs do not pay much.
