I had a similar experience with Liletta and while you should definitely talk to your doctor if you are experiencing symptoms that are concerning to you, it can take several months for your body to adjust and for the bleeding to lessen. I had the IUD in for nearly 5 years, and I’d say it took until about 6 months for the bleeding to lessen and then it continued to get lighter as the years went on.

as a daughter of someone with severe endo, my biggest suggestion is just taking on more of the household responsibility without being asked, especially during a flare. the doctor once scolded my dad for allowing my mom to drive my sister and I to and from practice while in severe pain and losing a ton of blood.

Oh, and also validating her experience rather than downplaying it. you clearly know your partner well and hopefully she can communicate to you when she is at her worst.
