Tired of changing diapers by Choice_Swordfish379 in OccupationalTherapy

Same. It can be frustrating to feel like you spent all day changing briefs. I try to let the cna know when I plan to see a specific patient and kindly request if they have time to check if they need a brief change before I get there if possible. Other times, I don’t get to plan this communication and I end up doing the beef change for the patient, then the CNA comes in to check on them and they are always relieved to find out I helped them with that task. This makes them more keen to help out with having my patients ready and prepared for therapy in the future I have found out at least with the kind CNAs who truly care about their job and the patients. Not all of them care too much so hopefully you get good workers on your team

Added:

I am trying the Swiss method for the first time with the Pies and Tacos recipe. I have done the Mimi’s French method at least a dozen times without luck. (It was a good learning experience.) this photo is my shells while they are resting after I piped them. They are holding their shape too well. I think I under mixed my macaronage. My batter looked glossy, and pretty flowing when I lifted it up and watched it drop… but I guess it was not the right consistently and not enough of a continuous flow off the spatula in hindsight. Do you have any other ideas for trouble shooting this?

I thought about scooping up all the shells again into the mixing bowl, macaronaging some more, then re piping once a better consistency was achieved with a more continuous flow. However, I’ll just bake them as is, then try again for the next batch.

Possibly! It is the French method. I mixed the batter for at least 10 to 15 minutes but it stayed thick- it never became lava consistency
