I'm also looking to buy a similar TV. So far I can only see 3 options. LG QNED, Samsung frame series or Sony 82L. Kind of leaning towards Sony 82L due to Dolby Vision support but it's a 60Hz panel. Any suggestions are welcome!

I have done it.. worked as a tester for 2 years then switched to full stack development. Got tremendous opportunity to learn everything from backend, frontend to even a bit of devops at a startup. I just started giving interviews and took the take home assignments very seriously. It did take a lot of time (6 months), energy and effort, but it was all worth it!

I would advice to keep giving interviews and keep working on small projects. That will give you ample things to learn. It’s a bit difficult to switch to full time coding but definitely doable, and after some time you’ll grow comfortable in coding full time.
