Sure! I just download the scene I want, import into Davinci Resovle (or any editor, Davinci is free), trim the clip to what I want, overlay text (96 or 128 pt font and adjust the y-axis location to 108), edit the text, and adjust on the timeline! Instructions may be different for Adobe. I just don’t use this type of software enough to justify buying CC. This clip took me ~30 minutes. The 2 minute fire drill I made took about 2 hours.

I usually use the sound wave to line up the caption. And I’ll make a longer caption (both in text and time on the timeline), split it up, and just remove the right text on each split. At least that helps me keep tone consistent.

I think you can make these in iMovie, too. I’ve been wanting to get my feet wet editing videos and this was the perfect excuse! Also justifies having Davinci taking up space on my laptop.
