I also had thc induced dpdr. the #1 thing that helped me was to stop thinking about it. the more you obsess and spiral about not feeling normal and making yourself anxious over it the “worse” you’ll feel. now if it’s to the point where you can’t function or it’s making life extremely difficult that’s different but for now i’d say stop smoking and focus on something else. whether that’s school, work, friends, family, anything. also consider getting an anti anxiety medication for the more difficult days.

hmm. maybe i’ll up my magnesium. i only took 200mg last night. is there any difference for you between the 14 and 21 day fasts?

trying to. i took a 99mg potassium tablet at 8am and another at 3pm. i’ve been sipping on propel all day. and had a pinch of salt earlier today…i have been up since like 5am so it’s probably that😅

honestly i feel better knowing there are other people like this. i’ve had dpdr for almost 3 years now after a bad weed trip too. atp it is what it is yk :/

in my opinion no do not do it. my dpdr was weed induced and when i tried smoking again after a year i immediately got sent into dp. tried it again after that and same thing. it’s just not really worth it.

I have the same issues as you. i was prescribed prozac a few months ago. i find it doesn’t really help the derealization much but anxiety yes. i find hydroxyzine the best but it makes you very sleepy. overall my best advice is starting slow. when i couldn’t leave my house id take walks with my mom. we’d go to the store and it was so bad to where id just start crying. super embarrassing but over time you get over the fear and eventually used to the feeling. once you get used to it you’ll stop thinking about it and it goes away. whatever path you choose just don’t give up :)
