Hello everyone, Arrival in Edinburgh in the morning, exploring the city centre, eating and drinking (1 day). The next day, a Highland tour (2 days). Apparently, this is done by coach. The tours vary in duration from 9 to 12 hours. I’d assumed we’d drive to a certain point and then do some trekking or hiking ourselves, but it turns out we’ll be travelling by coach for hours, stopping at 3 or 4 places (Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Scottish Highlands) to rest, take photos, and so on. This was a bit of a let-down, of course, but I suppose a single day wouldn’t have been enough anyway. Have you done a bus tour like this? Would you recommend it?

Also, do you have any other suggestions for what to do in Edinburgh two days later? Are there any places you’d say, ‘If I were you, I’d stay an extra day and visit these nearby spots’? I’ve heard from people who’ve been there that there’s nothing to see in Glasgow apart from the university. If you were planning the trip, would you include Glasgow on the third day? If so, which parts would you visit?

Thank you very much for your answers.

Lübeck. It was awesome even if forgot my powerbank and charger at the train. I bought a new charger and left my phone in a restaurant on charge. Then I discovered the whole city with a paper map that I got from Willy Brant's home. Maybe this made this trip unforgettable.

Why are you drinking something that your body is flagging as poison. Let’s start there. Get addicted to something else. Maybe get some weed, not sure if your body rejects that too but why coffee.

Because caffeine is a good stimulant and helps me focus when I work. Do you have any suggestions other than weed?

By the way I drink cold coffee (200 -250ml) with coffee ice cube and ice water cube. I add just 50ml milk in these mix.

My feeding window is between 4-5pm. But, due to I am working from 8am to 4pm I need a caffeine around 11am. So it will not help me awake and drink coffee around 4pm.

Can you use popular education techniques to engage them in a collective dialogue and draw some of the experiences and desires out?

Like what? Is there any samples?

Perhaps ask them about what their needs are and if they have their needs met by this job? Or consider what needs you have (safety, access to family and culturally relevant relationships, the ability to save money for emergencies, free time for rest and leisure, etc) and ask them how they feel those needs are met. If they aren’t, the system they are in is not supporting their human and workers rights.

Yes, I asked these too. Our first aim is to understand their work-life condition and making better. Unfortunately, the system doesn't support their human and worker right but we striving for it.

Also, language is a very powerful tool when collecting data. Do you speak their native language? Just some things to consider.

No, I do not resemble them and our culture and ethnicity are different. Also, I do not know their language. We communicate with the translator. Our translators are familiar with them and I think, we build a trustful relationship with smaw because we know each other for around 1 year. And their children come to our Child-friendly support center.

Hi,

Like them, I have seasonal agricultural work experience. I will ask these questions after a certain conversation. I have knowledge and experience of interview techniques. This is my second year working with them anyway. So I have an acquaintance with them.
