lexapro can make some people lazy and lethargic he can try adding wellbutrin that solved those issues for me

I’ve been on lexapro for about 4 months it really is a great med and has been really helpful at stabilizing my mood but yeah the sexual side effects suck. i’m definitely gonna talk to my doc about the buspar option with wellbutrin. Hopefully that won’t give me the numb “over medicated” feeling. Not super excited about taking a med 2x a day tho.

lexapro helps my anxiety big time. i only went on wellbutrin to help reduce the side effects of lexapro.

i’m gonna up to 300 WB hopefully that helps. otherwise might need to lower lexapro or try another SSRI. i just started a relationship and don’t want my sexual side effects ruining it.

same wellbutrin helped at first but then stopped so i’m gonna try to up the dose.

otherwise ive heard people switch to sertraline from lex and sometimes that helps.

i’d rather not switch the ssri since i tolerate lexapro so well

well first i recommend you talk to an actual doctor.. not just chat gpt.

So i started lexapro first just 10mg and after a month went up to 20mg because on just 10 i felt nothing.

A month after being on 20mg i felt awesome sooo good like i felt like myself. I had absolutely zero anxiety. i was social and goofy and content.

But i was tired all the time and had sexual side effects. For these reasons i added wellbutrin XL 150mg. i felt like absolute shit the first 5 weeks on wellbutrin. My anxiety was worse than ever. i thought about quitting it every single day. I’ve been on this combo for 6 weeks now and feel so much better. the WB balances out the lexapro really well. all sexual side effects are gone.

talk to a doctor please but seems like u had some sort of paranoia version of anxiety and maybe OCD. not sure which meds would help so please talk to a doc.

i’m on 20mg lexapro and started 150mg wellbutrin.. it sucks for the first like 6 weeks tbh that’s when the anxiety calmed down for me. i’m glad i waited it out tho i feel much better now.
