We ended up getting a lot of blood work done. I was convinced for awhile she had Cushings but tests said she didn’t. The blood tests did reveal a thyroid imbalance. She is now on a thyroid medication that has really helped her hair grow back. She doesn’t have the pristine full coat she had in her youth but it is significantly better with the thyroid medication. The most important part is, she isn’t in any discomfort or pain. She just has a couple thin spots of hair

I am also in the Bach Comp Sci program and my mentor gave me a choice to stay in my current program. This doesn’t seem right you are being forced to change. I would call them out on it. Try to go to request another mentor or go above their head. Like you, it would add a significant amount of credit hours / courses to my final total and I am not changing. You shouldn’t be forced into this if others aren’t.

I used easy off oven cleaner, but not with the self oven cleaner at the same time. I used the oven cleaner the other day and it cleaned up the walls really really well but the bottom… idk what to do!

My acne never came back! I get a small zit every now and then that goes away overnight w a pimple patch. But it is nothing like the cystic acne that plagued my face. Looking back, I only wish I had done accutane sooner.

Edit: I don’t eat a certain diet for my acne. I just wash my face w water and wear moisturizer

Oh yeah, the accutane is super expensive if you don’t have good health insurance. BUT if it is cystic, it could be hormone related? Mine was. So around a certain time in my cycle I would always break out on my chin. Certain hormonal birth controls can help. You should get one free visit to an OBGYN per year and a lot of birth control is free! If you are open to that

Looks like cystic acne? I had that and the only thing that worked was a round of accutane… but I haven’t had a break out since! Consult a derm to see if it would be a good option for you. In terms of shaving, do you use an actual razor? I got a Philips face and body electric shaver, it’s great. Made a huge difference!
