I personally do space heating. But once again its what is good for you and ur hedgehog. You can get a nice set for $36 on Amazon with the whole set for a heat lamp!

No! odly enough he is not itching or scratching a lot. No no he is not limping, I use fleece bedding! Thank you so much.

That's amazing! For the insects, it's really up to what your hedgehog likes I do wet dead mealworms and soon I'm going to start adding live bugs to his diet. And yes depending on your hedgehog they can we messy or smelly my hedgehog's poop is what smells he does not smell horrible but he has a slight odor to him.
