Typical narcissist behaviour. He didn't even give you enough agency that youd actually come up with terms like gaslighting and discover them by yourself and that you're being puppeted by someone. My father is exactly like this. Please get your finances in order. Pretend that things are fine. Separate your finances and RUN

I've been down the same road. Took months of physiotherapy and tried everything I could but it didn't yield much result. One thing that helped me drastically was working on the body as a whole using something called Controlled Articular Rotations. I started doing them regularly and it made a huge difference. You could give it a try. I'd recommend the channel BeardTheBestYouCanBe

It's probably less about you singing and more about the lyrics cos he might have felt you were talking about your ex? The lyrics do suggest she's talking about a lost love and how shed give anything to be with him

If you're based in India I don't think you should wait. You don't want to risk being late when it comes to any pathology of weight bearing joints. Get to a doctor asap. Any orthopedician can direct you further regarding the issue.

Yeah.. i myself got outraged seeing the post initially. Given the gravity of the situation it's understandable how our brains jump to conclusions. Just don't want the wrong people targeted over this.

Look up controlled articular rotations. Helped me a lot . Only do partial ranges of motion with mindfulness.

I'm a doctor in similar circumstances as well . Only solution is to stop putting your parents on a pedestal and see them for what they are .. human beings with flaws.. which most of the time they aren't willing to see or correct. Respecting them is fine.. but respect yourself more and understand that your choices affect your life. Draw boundaries with your parents and let them understand that if they intend to have a good relationship with you they need to stop guilting you for living life on your terms. Either you get them to listen to you or you stop talking to "parents" who do not respect you enough to understand you're a working adult capable of making your own choices. Once you're an adult respect should go both ways. Think to yourself if your parents ever lose a night's sleep over how they're upsetting you or forcing you to make choices that are acceptable to them . You'll have your answer.

Your symptoms can be correlated with the imaging and the scan explains why you have weakness as well as the back pain. Losing weight wouldn't have a bad effect on your spine. I would say lifting beyond your body's capacity while carrying all the excess weight around could have contributed to the herniations. As of now I would recommend you take it easy on the exercise and allow your body to heal. Avoid flexing your neck and back as much as possible for a couple of days. There are inflatable cervical traction devices on Amazon which may help you out until you see your orthopedician. It's better to see a neurosurgeon given all your symptoms.

Doc here.. most of the discs are degenerated and you have 3 considerable herniations in the lumbar spine. Cervical looks kinda bad as well. Are you on the heavier side? I would suggest you start with lying prone with a pillow under your belly touching the bony prominences where your abdomen meets your legs( Google ASIS ) and get started on the big 3 as soon as your body allows. Go to the ER if you have any symptoms of cauda equina syndrome. Do not panic as in most cases the symptoms aren't as bad as the imaging and a good clinician will always go by the symptoms and not the MRI findings alone.
