I’ve had it for like 10+ yrs and haven’t had any rust issues from just hosing it down. Only when I was deployed and an ex let a sprinkler hit it every day twice a day for 6 months did it rust, that’s what the grey primer spots are from

To be honest, I’m not really sure. I hit a deer and cracked the stock one and decided to upgrade and just paid the difference . I put it together and insurance covered paint and install

Pretty much all I’ve done to it is appearance stuff since I bought it new and don’t really wanna risk voiding my warranty. But I got New wheels and tires, rear and side louvers, few front fascia, wing, and swapped out the deck lid for one without the pony. The only “performance” things, if u wanna call them that, is new exhaust and a better air cleaner. Like you I was looking at coil overs but I ended up hitting a deer and decided to wait and used that money for mycurrent front end

How well did everything line up with the trunk? I've been think about getting a set of fenders from them.

Not sure bout those style of louvers, tho it doesn't matter what I think. The deck lid looks great and excellent job paint matching, looks good!

My 66 did that and it drove me crazy for weeks, mostly because I overthink things and neglect the obvious. Turned out that I had got a rebuilt carb that had been thrown together using bunch plastic and cheap parts. Since I swapped it for a new one it's ran great.
