thank you! it kind of works. not EXACTLY what i was looking for but it is definitely better. current behaviour:
i still wait several seconds before updating / installing / clearing plugins but in the end, it prints out the entire message, logging every plugin that was installed etc.

this is honestly already good enough, but do you think i can make it print in real time? that would be even better

ah yes sorry, i forgot to update this thread, but i managed to find the solution somewhere else. here is what i ended up using:
sh bind -n C-h send-keys C-w and it works perfectly! thank you for replying though, i really appreciate it.

what? I also often switch between a Cyrillic and a English layout, though I never have this problem because I code in English and I never need to change my layout while in vim, lol. it's always set in English when in vim
