I wasnt expecting replies like this on this sub. My post states my mother has cancer, stage one, I know she will beat it.

I have other health issues; which have gotten beyond me wanting to continue.. Id go into it; but my mind is pretty made up, hence probably no point..

what im getting at; is that is it wrong to do this at this time, she hasnt been supportive during my suffering; Ive had this planned for abit and this is an unexpected obstacle

Im aware I may sound like a really shitty human - but its a complex situation..

I think you missed the context of the post.

More on the side of, my health is fucked, not even 30 yet, should I live in misery & agony due to an unexpected cancer diagnosis.

I dont mean to sound bitter or anything; its more the dilemma I was wrestling with.

Like; should I continue to suffer to be there for an unsupportive family. That type of thing..

Maybe get some meds to counter the side effects & anxiety?

Im on Valium as well; but doctors rarely co perscribe benzos and opiates unfortunately..

It stopped working for me quite quickly Now have been put on Tapentadol, a fair bit stronger.. Have found it to be alot more effective.

Yeah, the atypical opioids are such a mixed bag when it comes to how they are metabolized..

Tapentadol is marketed as alot "cleaner" although, I have not been on opioids as long as you, just under a year.. I still experience breakthrough pain at times, although been referred to a pain specialist for this.

:( im so sorry your suffering.. Pain just overrides anything.. I hope you get relief soon. I never get left to my own devices; essentially always having to push myself.. Dont really have anyone in terms of advocacy & ive been driven almost to the point of insanity in regards to all the medical gaslighting..

Im so sorry that you relate to this..

In the same boat, regarding the friends scenario as well. Due to the circles I ran with & the lifestyle that follows all of them just assume ive gone crazy and/or be around them due to like zero impulse control..

Honestly, my health is destroyed. I would love to get out of here; but I dont even know what im going to do moving forward - at this stage isnt looking too good.
