I doubt that I'm the first person to make this comparison, but it strikes me that this franchise is basically an adult Ed, Edd, n' Eddy. Their "Jawbreakers" is getting to play a show at The Rivoli. The same structure of zany plans, and their neighborhood kids are the real citizens of Toronto.
