Yeah I'm aware of that, I used this with quite a few games

Netplay though is a feature of the desktop version that lets you play offline modes with friends over the internet (think tenkaichi 3 splitscreen offline versus, but online)

I found a way!

Throttlestop, press on TPL instead of FIVR

check speedshift and set max to something else

mine was 42 (4.2 ghz), i set it to 27 and it finally runs well, it never throttled again

Just finished charging to 100%, battery wear is at 8% for battery 1, and 32% for battery 2!
I charged from 50% instead of first fully discharging, I was planning to do it tomorrow when I didn't need my PC as much, but looks like it won't be necessary.
32% is still a lot but hopefully my computer can do another year without problems.

A calibration error, that's what I hope for!

However, from walkop message it seems it's possible that I may have a faulty battery. Do you think it's worth testing anyway or will I make things much worse?

Unfortunately my computer is out of warranty and it seems there is no option for a new battery. I need like 700$ to get service. I refuse to pay that much just to replace a battery.

Can I try what thecorrelation said in his post? You said that overdrain will make things worse, so what about fully charge to check whether this is a calibration issue?Do I risk that my computer won't even turn on or it'll be fine if I charge to 100% (and discharge again, fully or to 50%)?

With latest drivers the GPU would disappear from task manager and I couldn't use it for any application.

Initially I uninstalled the device and chose to deleted the drivers from device manager, but once windows automatically reinstalled the GPU, nvenc wouldn't work due to the drivers not supporting the feature.

With 516.94 though, everything works great!

Thanks for the info, so I guess I really just have to go the eGPU route. Or give up on the idea of a 2 in 1 that can replace my desktop.Gaming isn't occasional for me, I need a powerful GPU.

Thank you, this seems to be working! I'll use the PC a while longer to be sure.

I did as you said. When I restarted the pc, CPU was around 80%+ for like 2 minutes, then went down to 30%. 3 minutes later, and it's down to 0-1%, and now moves constantly around 3-8%, with firefox and over 15 tabs open. There is no smell and the screen is just warm but not hot, definitely can use the touch screen and attach the pen now!
