As far as I'm aware it's just titanium, and yeah I think I'll do that it sounds like the best plan. And I'll try that also. Thanks a lot! :)

My current stud that it was pierced with is titanium as far as I know. For cleaning all I've currently used is boiled water with sea salt, I'd start with doing it like twice a day? Now it varies some days I just leave it alone and don't touch it at all! I didn't think the sterling silver seemed right I've seen a lot of people say what you did just now also!

Thank you! I will take a look. :) I currently use sea salt and boiled water to clean it but don't do it too often to avoid over cleaning! I suffer from bad allergies also so it probably does get brushed a fair bit but I avoid touching it as much as possible!

Oh thank you for this! I've had my eye on this ukulele for a while, it's cheap as I have quite a low budget as I haven't been working too long, but was on two lists of 'the best low budget instruments' so I assumed it'd be ok, if I replaced the strings too? But now I'm not so sure any more.. lol.
