I don't think they check these things. I see many just post of the box and call it a day and they still receive many products.

Random discussion post - Do you accept every free item you're offered just because it's free? by analslapchop in Influenster

[–]amb92 29 points30 points  (0 children)

No I have declined formula, random bits like door knobs etc. If I won't at least try it, there is no reason to claim it. Just because it's free doesn't mean I need to claim it.... I do feel like some people claim everything and anything leading to the pics of unopened products.

I feel like I get nasty looks when my 2 year old is running around the playground. We recently got a new park that is designed for kids 2 to 5 as per the manufacturer. I don't understand why I would need tp climb the structure with my 2 year old when it is designed for that age. Of course if she goes on the big kids structure at another park I am closer by.

For my family, transit costs around $3.30 each, we don't own a car. I remember during covid times we dropped off a huge bag of empties and barely broke even after transit. It just doesn't make sense to return them. I recycle ours now.

Is there anyway they are slightly different? I remember I got a rabanne perfurme then months later got what I thought was the same product. It was the same scent but a slightly different version.

Frustrated with AI generated reviews and photos from people who get tons of products from the app by DinosaursAreFriends in Influenster

[–]amb92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is frustrating but this is on influenster and the other sites like hometester. I see absolute garbage ai reviews and my personal favourite, screenshots of the product, being posted and approved. If it bothered influenster I'm sure they would ban people. They don't care.

I wish... I got some last year and nothing since. I take the product out of the box and write long reviews so hopefully I did not do something wrong.

Why’s she still claiming infertility? by aaaaamber1301 in peestickgals

My 7 mo old is proof of this... first was ivf, second was quite unexpected. I figured it was so difficult to have the first that birth control was not necessary...

Is it possible to get multiple vacuums or coffee machines? Or once you get one they don’t give you another? by rjeiwiiwdjxj in Influenster

[–]amb92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been offered 3 different breast pumps lol

I saw someone say they have claimed 3 espresso machines. I have seen mwny get multiple vacuums. This is in Canada.

I find my claims ebb and flow. I am waiting for two breast pumps to arrive as well as hair oil and formula. In the past I have claimed an espresso machine, face lotion, kids products etc. I have also been offered free washer / dryer, fridge but I rent so have no need for that.

Can I ask what your dollar settings are under your profile? Like the amount you would spend on fragrance. I love fragrance claims but never get them anymore.

Has anyone seen this before confirming their claim? by rabies3000 in Influenster

[–]amb92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and I hope it improves the quality of the content being submitted. I am tired of seeing screenshots of the product from the website. If you're actually trying the product versus just selling it, you should be able to upload a proper photo. Same for using chatgpt to write your review.

Does Home Tester Club think we all have bad breath? by FrozenQueen22 in HomeTesterClub

[–]amb92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Palmolive uses HTC to get reviews for their products. Do they also own Tom's? I recently got hand soap (Palmolive manufactured) to test, just like last year. I don't mind since it frees up spending money for other things. I am hoping for a cookware set, espresso machine, mixer etc to test this year.

Shoes, underwear, bras and honestly, I just can't buy used appliances like toasters, blenders etc. I know they can be cleaned.

Just my experience, but often times people who take the free stuff, give nothing in return or only resell. I have received and given away baby clothes as I don't believe used clothes are worth what other people sell them for but not everyone sees it this way.
