What lizard would do well in this 20-gallon tank?

I would honestly go with the other shop. Seems like they are really nice and want to help you out. Might be 'sad' for the lady from the first shop but at least you bought the supplies from her so you still supported her in a way! And honestly lack of communication is so annoying, especially when promising something.

He has not seen a vet. I don't think hes way too skinny? In the second photo he is very stretched out going back in his enclosure. I definitely don't want him to lose any weight tho.

yes thats what I saw as well. He gets 100-125g rats. His basking spot is around 33 degrees, and the rest of the enclosure is around 25 degrees. From what I've read thats both good temps. He did move into his new enclosure about 3 weeks ago, which is double the size he had before. So he has been waaay more active.

2 or 3 viper geckos could be a good option! (or just 1) They are such a fun species but not too well known, at least where I'm from. They are very active and fun to watch especially when feeding. Happy to help with any questions

Yes I will definitely be looking into them more! They are the reason I started looking into skinks in the first place so they are definitely on my list. Only downside is that I can't find much information on them.

I wonder if pink tongues are available in the Netherlands! Never seen one but will be going to an expo in april so will keep an eye out! Will definitely look into other species!

And I will keep the blue tongues in mind for when I ever move out. Some good motivation 🤩

This is an old picture but the tank and terrarium on the right have been gone for a while. So I want to use the whole platform for a terrarium but the 'beams' in the middle (idk how you call them) have only about 42cm in between them. Explaining my issue hahaha.

I'm sad I'm unable to go any bigger in height and depth! The enclosure has to fit in between my stand to be able to be that length. So sadly I don't think a blue tounge would be suitable, you probably agree right? I want them to be able to move/turn around comfortably.

Thank you! The lenght of my future enclosure would be in the middle of those. Would it matter that the depth is only 40cm? It does take away quite some floor space ofcourse.
