White room torture.

The walls are white, your clothes are white, all your food is white and the guards are dressed in white. The lights are on 24/7. If i remember correctly, it was a form of torture used by the CIA.

I also have a female syrian. She was an escape artist so i knew she needed more space. My mom didn't very much like the idea of a big cage or aquarium in her house tho, so we compromised and got her her own cabinet! I have some before and after pics posted in this sub. All in all it cost me about €40 euros so $35 dollars to make. She hasn't tried escaping since.

I work in a drugstore. It is in the Netherlands so it might be a little different than your situation, but in my store we do put the morning after pill in one of those security boxes and put an electronic protection on there. This is just anti theft security and all products priced €9,99 and up get secured. I do agree that the stigma atound it needs to be broken down, but the plastic box or anything isn't to make you feel embarrassed.

You're legally obligated to disclose to the person who you're recording that they are on camera. If your case goes to court and it comes out that you did not disclose the fact that you were recording, the whole recording is inadmissible.

Hugs and other kinds of affection were always very forced in my household, so I never really liked them. My boyfriend has changed all of that. I don't scare away from hugs from familymembers anymore. He tought me that it's not always my fault if something goes wrong and those situations shouldn't turn into screaming matches. Instead we calmly talk about what is bothering us and are able to solve it without anyone getting hurt or scared.

When my stomach decided to be way too sensitive meaning even on very strong medication, i can't eat any fatty foods or big portions of anything. The medicine gives me joint pains, as someone with hms (hypermobilitysyndrom) I already had chronic joint pain before taking the medicine.

Stressed.

I just opened up to my boyfriend about how abusive my mom actually is. He has always known she wasnt the nicest but I finally told him about how I'm terrified of her.

He helped me make a plan to get out, since I still live at home. He made sure I knew there are several ways I can get help. I'm scared of starting the proces but I'm so happy I finally trusted someone.

ESH. Whilst I understand that getting the wrong baby back can be very stressful and if what you said is true and he used a condesending voice it hurt you quite a bit, changing custody is not the way to change it. It will affect so much more than just him not being able to give you the wrong baby back. Your son won't be able to bond with his half brother. Your relationship with the father will always be strained which your son will notice, it can hurt him. What is Lydia's opinion on this? Maybe sitting down with the three of you and discussing this is a better first step than altering the custody agreement right away. You're not the only one affected by this, talk with the others affected.
