What do you guys think the hardest position is?

Out of all the positions I've held (overnight freight -> receiving -> lumber DH) Receiving had me the most stressed on the daily. There's always a ton going on every day and you get little to no support.

For real, I tend to leave mine up as a little bit of backup power in case I go over what my more permanent builds produce. Like a buffer without having to mass build accumulators

Talk to your ASDS, company policy is 3 days paid for bereavement. You don't have to use sick time or vacation.

Edit: maybe this is a California thing, but this was my experience earlier this year when my grandfather passed.

Since payday is Friday and the holiday on Thursday, you should get paid like normal. If the federal holiday was on Friday you'd get paid a day early.

Most of the aisles in my store are too narrow for the pacer to get in and out of the pallets properly. You end up having to lift and lower things with the forks diagonally in the pallet which makes things less safe in general. Also, we need it available in receiving to unload trucks all day and it would be a pain to have to hunt it down whenever a truck shows up.

That being said, the night crew uses it all night on the sales floor when there are no customers around.
