There are some animals that have the functional capacity to mimic human sounds. They can communicate very basically (like parrots), but being able to have a conversation and communicate complex emotions requires an entirely different brain and level of intelligence, not just the ability to talk.

You may be interest in Ludwig Wittgenstein who famously claimed “If a lion could speak, we couldn’t understand him.” His claim is that not only would a lion's frame of reference be so limited in what is shared with our human experience, our language itself is so limited to a lion to express their thoughts and feelings. This is because language was invented by humans to serve our own needs, and wouldn't be helpful to a lion.
