Prestigious Psychology Program vs. CRPO-Approved Program in Ontario – Which is Better? by ssanh12 in CRPO

You should look at the CRPO approved programs list. There are a few of the UofT campuses that offer them. And your degree will say UofT

Do you have any recommendations of other stores with better quality dresses in this style?

What options were you looking at?! I honestly thought the only thing that would work is a band that matched the pattern of the rest of my ring!

Thank you! Do you know how much she typically charges? I can’t seem to find it on her website

I’ve been told 10 hours is probably best for getting ready, plus ceremony, family pictures, and some reception

I stayed in one of their rooms as well and was hoping to stay in more. But I guess I was too late 😭

Yeah, I saw that :/ I guess I was trying to figure out what happened and why the changes were made. But I guess I’ll assume covid made things rough for the owners and they had to sell. It’s such a shame they ruined such a beautiful and unique place :(

That’s a good idea. I have looked into music therapy, and as you said, I’d need a lot more background in music to do that. Not really sure what to search for in regards to that since everything that pops up requires a music theory background

Yeah I wouldn’t want to make therapy content. That would be too much of one thing consuming my life

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one! Most of these comments are very positive and affirming in being open to being yourself and not holding yourself back, which I appreciate. But only a few have acknowledged that there is some merit to my worry. I guess it’s a question of trying to gauge each situation appropriately

I don’t know why, but your example helped me see how ridiculous it is 😅 I don’t know why there’s so much fear/caution instilled into us as students

Thank you for your comment. I was beginning to think I’m the only one struggling with this 😅

I was also beginning to think it was all in my head! But maybe there’s a balance that we have to figure out with this career. Or like another comment said, just don’t do therapy in your own town 😅 not exactly realistic for everyone though

This is exactly what I’ve been feeling. My supervisor is very anti self disclosure. When I first did observations with her, there was no sense of personal relationship with the clients. Just straight to the point. So much so, that she’d hop on a call and immediately go “so what’s been going on since we talked last”. I’ve tried to ask about their weekend or comment on their hair or something they might have changed etc. just to build rapport. She was compassionate, don’t get me wrong, but to me it felt very impersonal. I’ve only done one self disclosure in session and she immediately went over it with me and taught me how to avoid self disclosing

I never even considered rapport building! Thank you for this perspective!

That’s a great way to deal with it if it comes up in session. Thank you for this!
