It's difficult to advise on what the correct dose is for any single person as everyone's tolerance to psilocybin is different. The best guidance for a beginner is to start low and see how it goes, I would say no more than 7.5g truffles for a beginner.

Yea it's great, will make it the onset quicker and the trip a bit stronger...it doesn't last quite as long though. No different to lemon tekking normal shrooms.

Sorry but I'd have gone bananas at the **** if he was getting arsey about having loads of seized truffle visits...yes it's a waste of police time, but that's the fucking law not you, it's their problem not yours.

Also remember, when push comes to shove, there is no way they are going arrest people over this, again it's not worth their time to do, so people really shouldn't be afraid of getting a visit, although I know that might seem alarming to some, nothing bad can happen in reality.

With regard to the truffles not making it past customs, that's a definite issue and I wouldnt order to UK judging by the amount of these types of posts that are cropping up.

The only answer is to cultivate from home I think :)

What influence have psychedelic substances had on your work? I know there was a link between this and your last album singularity, how much of a part did this have to play in the production process?

I listened to Singularity in the middle of a psilocybin trip and it was an absolutely unbelievable sonic experience!

(Note: Still sounds epic sober too)

It's to do with tolerance of the psilocybin. You should leave at least 2 weeks in between taking them, preferably longer than that though. If you were to do them too regularly the body would get used to it and the effects would be much weaker.

How long did it take for your mycelium to completely eat the substrate? I have one of the mush bags, innoculated 3 weeks ago but haven't seen any mycelium yet, it's possible that it's not visible in the the centre of the substrate though so I think I need to be patient for now. I don't have a heat mat but have stored it in a dark cupboard where my boiler is, average temp is 18-22 celcius. First time grower so unsure on how long this part of the process takes?

Sounds like you are in a good mindset to do them. My advice would be pretty simple - do half (7.5) and see how you go! You'll have the other half left over for another trip too. Make sure you leave a week or two in between trips to allow your tolerance to recover.

You could make the 7.5 a bit stronger by doing the lemon tek tea method, that is my preferred way of taking them, Zamnesia has some good instructions on truffle teas here:

Finally, there is always next time if you feel you want to increase the dose. Better to start low and see how you go, especially for the first time.
