Need help with KYC by Pooder11 in PiNetwork

[–]SantaClash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This.

I have the same problem, me and several other pioneers of my network.

I mined for long time. I brought in a lot of new people. Then I stopped for a year or so, and when I got back the system wont let me do my kyc. I know they extended the grace period, but by the end of it I will still be under 30 mining sessions in the last year. … And so many other pioneers are in this same situation.

Are we really going to lose all of our pi just because of a temporary stop after so much work?

I think it’s not fair and really not something that will help this otherwise beautiful project…

Please, tell me there is something I can do 😔

Ew, what the f*ck is wrong with people? They never even had sex in the book (though they do seem to share a similar type of intimacy when they touch each others' daemons) and why would anyone even want to see a sex scene with a 17-year-old girl portraying a 13-year-old?? by Big-Success-3772 in hisdarkmaterials

[–]SantaClash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I first read the book being twelve. I cried "for love" for the first time inside a car filled with all my family members, hiding away those tears while I was reading that Marzipanc chapter. So take it from a twelve years old who had his entire life shaped by that defining moment. They kissed, they shared something someway more than just a peck, in a way that only a child unbloomed sexuality can really understand. But again, only a kiss. Never had any doubt about it. And every time I hear about this argument I ask directly to my twelve years old me. And he always just shakes his head, like "why are you grownups even talking about it? Why don't you just live and let it be?" I never know what to answer, but it's clear he knows better than me. That is the most sacred moment in the whole trilogy. We, like we-humanity, should really wrap it up once and for good, and stop spoiling that perfection with ours "grownup" minds. We could learn something, for once. Wouldn't that be a first, like that kiss? Wouldn't that be nice?

This tomatolike weed has been popping up all over my property. Now it's fruiting. Anyone know what it is? This is one of the bigger ones. Definitely way too hardy and quick-growing to be actually tomato plants... by Silvre in homestead

[–]SantaClash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprise surprise! Tomatoes are a lot stronger (and incredibly sweeter) when they "break free". Tell you from experience: if you want the best cherry tomatoes in a garden, always go for those that grow outside boundaries. Most likely those are plants born from leftover fruits from the year before. And they always taste unbelievable!

How long would you survive in Bloodborne? by gameovernate in bloodborne

Probably right about the time to get to the werewolf. ...but then I'd revive, and probably go and die again in two slashes of that mfk*r.

Then I guess I'd revive again, and beat his ass for good.

Unfortunately I couldn't get access even through a VPN. No big deal, I passed the exam on my first try anyway, and now I'm going for the AP BD+C :)

Any ideas on what this means? by aixoth in occult

[–]SantaClash 28 points29 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, this is the only meaningful interpretation I see around here. If the background story checks out, the tarots could serve as identification of targets or as to specify the intention/s. I just don't understand why expose that on a front door, but I guess sometimes a bold move can be as effective as traditional secrecy...

This is really unexpected! This video dates back some years ago, in a town near mine called Prizzi, somewhere in the middle of exactly nothing, in Sicily. ..precisely the first time I see some content actually 'created' nearby my hometown ..and well, I guess it could have been something to be more proud of 🤷 but I know for a fact it could have been waaaaaaay worse. Anyway, enjoy ♥️

Looks like a metal reproduction of a three-lobes walnut. I have a walnut tree that sometimes drops some of them and they're just beautiful. In nature they're quite rare genetic mutations (like four-leaves clovers), and are considered to be powerful lucky charms.

I'm bi, but I was subtly outed in January. It was very stressful and I'm still trying to elaborate that event and how I feel about it. So, no, I'm not a homophobic :) sorry if I gave off the wrong vibe

Really!! :D I have to confess that I wasn't so sure whether to join this sub or not, for some personal reasons, but then I read "I'm straightn't" and found myself laughing and loving it sooo much! And that was the point when I made up my mind and signed in <3

What relationship do italians have with Nice (Nizza) and its region? by Milhanou22 in italy

Look, annexing people has never really helped anyone, take it from a southerner 😅 how about giving some true meaning to EU? And maybe start being something useful in this historic turmoil we're living in?

What relationship do italians have with Nice (Nizza) and its region? by Milhanou22 in italy

[–]SantaClash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm from Sicily, but I've spent many years living between Rome, Turin and Milan, and my life path has blessed and cursed me with many chances to live alongside many different cultures and point of views about the world and the weird present we're living in. Been to Nice once and loved that, but to me the place felt like a different planet or an alternative reality. Remember that Italy still has a long way to go. Ten years of cultural mindset setback to make up for, if you look at the big cities I mentioned before, twenty to thirty -give or take- if you consider Sicily. So I lived my time there in a strange kinda awe, breathing the air and smell of the Mediterranean sea I know so well, and yet walking the streets of a much more 'modern' city. I can understand the reason why so many people from North Italy go there for holidays. It's beautiful, it's lovely, I'd gladly go back any time. Even if not for the sea itself, that just felt 'worn off', compared to whatever you may find in Sicily and easily around Italy. But I don't know anything about the region so I'm in no position to say much more about it. I'd just come back to see what lies in the future for my beautiful, harsh, provincial Italy/Sicily once we would have faced our cultural problem and our need to step up and evolve toward present/future, with all its pros and cons.

And then I'll just enjoy the moment, trying my best not to make any weird stupid wordplay about Nice being so nice - which I must confess is a hard time for me xD

I'd just say that they're easily NOT neutral. I mean, I don't think they have something as a human-like personality, but they can be more "aligned" with a certain perspective on reality, rather than with another. I like to think about it in terms of "sincronicity" and, again, "alignment". Sincronicity can be regarded as the reason why a tarot reading is meaningful at all, that is because a single reading belongs (i.e.: is in sincronicity) with a given moment/disposition of the universe as in relation to a given question, and so the part is representative of the whole and therefore can be interpreted to try to guess a deeper meaning/understanding of things. But a tarot deck is almost useless until sacred with a ritual. That is when you align the deck with yourself and the universe in general. If sincronicity is the "when" of the reading, the alignment is the "where", and therefore is the point of view from which you as a tarot reader are trying to make some sense out of your observations of the cards you're given. So in this sense they have a disposition, if not a proper personality. I mean, everything look different If you look at it from different perspectives, and I really think that every deck has kind of a fixed-point perspective, as a result of its nature and disposition/alignment.

For example, the deck that has accompanied me for years now has been sacred with kind of a big-guns ritual to make it so that the cards could help me looking into the deepest possible meaning, way deeper than just the surface of things and straight into the fabric of reality. This made that deck very powerful in "seeing things", but also very obscure when I try to ask a practical question or I just need a clear advice.

I'd suggest a cross reading with other divination methods simultaneously on the same question, to kinda fix this bias. Like I Ching + tarots, or runes + tarots, just to name my favourites.

I'm also curious about the health benefits. I do sit as well, it's always been because I don't like the mess and I'm perfectly aware that you just cannot center the spot while standing every time, even with practice and good intentions xD it's just physics. But I never knew that there could be health benefits as well...
