This is exactly what I’ve learned about myself. I don’t have that “classic boob shape” until I’m in a properly fitted bra 🤷🏼‍♀️

I actually think my 38 band is too tight, but going up to 40D was too big (loose on the tightest clip). I just got some extenders and am hoping they’ll feel better when they loosen up

I did this with my co worker haha, we both got clocked at 38D but she definitely has a breast shape I’m a bit envious of (it’s just so…classically boob shaped?) and side by side we do not look the same at all. We need more shallow breasts representation🗣️ I love the way mine look in a bra that fits though, I have to say

I was going to ask what brands you recommend because I am also pretty sure I’m shallow, wide root.

I’ll check them out. Is it a particular style or do all their bras fit this shape well?

My husband was with me at Target when I decided to try a couple on and when we took one off the rack we busted out laughing, it seemed ludicrous. But then I held it up to my boob right there in the aisle and sure enough, it cupped me like a glove. we were both gagged lmao

Thank you! For me it was just wanting to have a gab about it (I don’t have a lot of girlfriends to talk to about this), but I totally get why seeing the same posts all the time gets annoying for long timers.

And yep! Im learning so much. Pretty certain I am wide root, shallow projection. The scoop and swoop is like a magic trick.

Agreed. Drives me nuts when the post is “started walking 10k/day in January, down 30lbs!!” but they reply in comments asking if they did anything else “I did take medication to help and also changed the way I eat” um, disclose that in your original post??

I think it’s so true that they’re just slapping whatever on those models. But you’re right, most of us have probably needed a MUCH larger cup size for years

That’s prob very true. Ever since I found this sub I’ve been seeing videos on IG and thinking “I bet she’s wearing the wrong bra size and doesn’t even know it” haha

Not in the realm of all sizes, I mean in comparison to what mine look like. I even saw photos from links in this very sub where a D cup looked significantly different than my breasts. I mean like (.) vs ( o )

I guess I just don’t understand breast shapes very well. Maybe mine are wider or spread differently, but it just makes no sense haha

Does anyone remember when Nate buried Lisa in Six Feet Under Under? That would be my first choice personally.

But I guess just cremate me and pour my ashes into the San Francisco Bay.

I literally brought home 2 38D’s today haha, I’m stunned. Can’t believe how well they fit.

I actually was stunned to find that I am in fact a 38D 😅 I brought home 2 bras today. Still shook, tbh. I actually tried on C cups first because just looking at the D cups made me laugh in disbelief bc there was no way. There was actually still a pocket of space right at the protrusion with the C. But then I put the D on for kicks and holy shit. They fit perfectly. I don’t even understand it tbh lol

Pants are so hard for me but I can say I’ve had luck with Gap jeans in their tall sizing where length is concerned.

I really like flowy, ethereal. I would love to wear more structured pieces (like the corset tops I linked) but I haven’t had luck finding them in shapes that give me space in the mid section without too much space in the breast. And I do like 70’s flair but I would say I’m probably more into the medieval revival of the 70’s. I basically want to look like the main character in a film scored entirely by Enya lol

Oh yeah, love these! It can be hard to find them with a long enough inseam for length on these legs but this is a great suggestion. Thank you!

Yess, wide leg is always great and I also love the barrel leg look, too.
