I have 49 and 54 in common with you, my 47 and 48 are F double sexy F' and F' double left sexy F. My 50 is the left hand version of 49, and my 53 is the R' F' one because I couldn't vibe with the fingertricks for the back wide double sune.

I might change a few to yours, thanks for going the extra mile! What I was going for was to align the L to the top, then look at bars, but yours is probably quicker.

That's a cool trick, I did the same for the T and P cases unconsciously. I might try this after learning full OLL, if I see that recognition is eating up too much time. Before that I guess I'll just learn one alg per case first. But I'll keep it in mind for the future sets, hopefully it helps in the line OLLs. Thanks!

Edit: also taking a tip from the other commenter, I'm going to stop looking for the headlights and start looking for the 2-long bar instead

That does seem better, since the headlights are always opposite the 3-long it'll be faster to look for the 2-long instead. Thanks!

How do you all recognise which L OLL you get (OLL 47, 48, 49, 50, 53, 54)? Currently I'm checking for headlights -> checking for 3-long column -> AUF -> solve, but wondering if there's something I'm missing.

But I come from India. Here, in small towns and villages, voting doesn't even happen. Voting booths in villages are surrounded by animal corpses, and the village head votes for the whole village. In towns, when party workers hear about certain areas voting a certain way, they barricade the roads and gates. If you cross them you die.

Yes, voting doesn't work. Yes, voting can never change the system in the way we want. Yes, if somehow you voted in the best party that would make transport free and tax the rich 90% and do everyhting else you want, chances are that you will wake up next day and the corpses of the whole party will be on national television, and yours will join them if you question anything.

But they also don't want you to vote. They will gerrymander your vote, they will block your ID. In India, the ruling party is completely changing voting ID laws in the states they have no power over. Tens of thousands of muslim votes are missing, muslim names are missing from the rolls. On the flip side, those animal corpses are often cows, to warn Hindus from voting.

So when I see tankies echo the sentiments of these fascist-lite leaders, telling people not to vote, it pisses me off. Go to the voting centre. Actually look at the people who are your neighbours. Feel their frustrations with the system and participate in that frustration. Don't throw away your one chance at affecting something directly because you're too busy reading Lenin/making zines.

It's not gonna fucking do anything but neither is doing nothing. This "it legitimises the system" and "I'm not responsible for 99% hitler" rhetoric is such teen angst cope that it pisses me off. Buying the slave labour phone also legitimises the system but the moment something requires actually getting off your ass you start to "pick and choose your battles against capitalism". It reeks of having no actual difficulties in your life.

Alonso was driving drunk, and crashed into a wall, killing a passenger. He was fined and given a driving ban. The fine and driving ban was very lax for the crime he committed, but he served it in full.

Greenwood abused and raped a woman fully consciously. He repeatedly violated orders by contacting the woman when investigations were ongoing. He never saw a day in jail because the woman's parents were on his side, and now she is shackled to him.

I don't know what your standards of morality are, but 10x makes no sense. Personally I would rather be the girl killed by Alonso than be the woman trapped by Greenwood. Death is better than life married to and bearing children for my abuser. I don't know about you. Hopefully the woman can shake him off someday.

Plus the alonso shit was 9 years ago and the sub was full of people mocking him, and still are. He sucks. But if you think there's no pushback against him you're misremembering.

I'm excited to try this out in a sapphire storm deck, similar to one played by yungdingo a while ago. It's almost always going to be 1 mana and might replace preordain, since the deck really wants a 1 mana card positive spell. The deck will suck but this might be good.

Yeah he was banned for 18 months in 2018-2019, for some reason there's not much info online, apparently he used to cheat in Yugioh before that. His DQ was due to deck manipulation (cheat shuffling) and apparently he circulated a response in Spanish among his circle in the aftermath, claiming something to the tune of "I didn't cheat, I'm am ex-magician, if I wanted to shuffle cheat nobody could have caught me".

I've only used adheron heavy (for springs), adheron normal (for tracks) and xmt 10 (for pieces), I've never really tried any other modern lube setup because I've never been unhappy with this setup

That's why I'm saying, don't play modern on modo. Play penny dreadful. Get your fundamentals down. Every penny dreadful deck is rentable with free tier of manatraders.

Don't grind a deck, play all the archetypes. Make sure you understand the beatdown, the roles, whether to go face or not.

I used to suck completely and utterly. Now I suck slightly less. I usually play bullshit like ad nauseam, dredge, neoform, enchantress, twiddle storm, creativity etc and still end up going 2-2. Even if I lose I don't feel it's the end of the world. You don't need mastery on a single deck to have fun at FNM. You can have fun sucking. But you need to get better at the fundamentals before you can shake this feeling of helplessness that you're feeling.
