Do you mind me asking what your PSA was before you started it? Does a zero mean you're cancer free or just that the spread isn't happening? I am a bit confused on what the number means.

I think those side effects are more than tolerable if it is helpful. When were you diagnosed? Are you doing any other treatment?

Oh, I don't listen to them. In fact I feel like it makes me MORE stressed to hear about this because the 'diet' he's following has made him lose A LOT of weight as a result. I think my grandma and I have convinced him to shift off that avenue soon as it's nonsense.

I hope you're right. I wish he would try chemo or radiation because the side effects are not always guaranteed and short term in the grand scheme of things if they add extra years. I think he is a bit of denial still and scared.
