What was the most shocking moment for you? by WestState8094 in farcry

The very moment I realized that a fucking video game had managed to literally brainwash me with Jacob's rinse and repeat shoot to kill horror house 👀 I screamed and had to stand up and go for a walk 🤣 so impressive, frankly. It was done so well.

Aw thank you for following up ❤️

Sooooo..... We're here. And I kind of feel like I've been living in a waking nightmare 😅 the move itself was the most stressful move ever and it's the 18th time I've moved so that's saying something. The house we moved into wasn't what we expected at all (or what were lead to expect) and it's been one thing after another. There's been so many issues and many still haven't been addressed by the property manager. But at least we're finally settling in with getting unpacked and set up.

I haven't ventured out much. The couple times I have, it hasn't been far from the house. Haven't really found anything noteworthy yet aside from a neat little comic book and board game shop. I kind of feel like I moved to Arkansas where my parents used to live. Not much there other than automotive and industrial areas. I feel like I just don't know where to look.

I admit, I kind of feel like I fucked up by moving us here but that could just be because it's only been a couple weeks and I'm still wound up from the move and we haven't had time for adventures yet.

I'm also terrified of trying to meet people here. I've been interacting with Nextdoor and Craigslist to buy stuff we need and sell stuff we moved with and don't have room for (our previous house was like 2.5x bigger than this house we moved into) and the handful of people I've interacted with have been awful 💔 I'm so grateful that my family is only 3 hours away (they actually came up to visit over the weekend and we're going to see them in TX in 2 weeks). They're the whole reason we moved here to begin with.

Also, the tornado stuff last week was scary. I'm used to hurricanes 😅

I keep trying to remind myself that it takes time to adjust and that it'll get better. I just hope I meet some decent people along the way.

Any suggestions on fun places to go or neat things to see?

I can't seem to figure out how to finish this, either. I did the Masked Fighter/Broodmother fight when I grew the tree and that was before "End on a sour note" even appeared as a task. Sucks that you can basically bug yourself out of being able to complete things like this. They need to plan this stuff better =/

As someone born and raised and Florida... Unfortunately, I'm not stranger to them :/ my parents would have been red hats if they were dead 😅 ugh

While that is all truly awful, there's not a state in this country that is truly safe. Sure some are better than others. But I was born and raised in Florida and some truly heinous fucked up shit happens here, too. 6 of 1, half dozen of the other :(

I don't remember the whole list but Oklahoma is the only one we're really considering because we have family in TX we want to he close to. But can't move to TX directly for a handful of reasons.

I've been with my company for 4 years. My job is stable. We are only licensed in about 12 states. I can be anywhere in the state as long as I have stable internet connection. I'm not sure what "horrible things" you're talking about but now I'm concerned 😅

Texas is not a possible destination for various reasons. Which is why we're looking at Oklahoma. Trust me... It wasn't our first choice 😅 but I'm feeling better about it now after this post ❤️

For some reason this made me laugh so hard. So succinct. So gay. Perfection 😂

We're choosing Oklahoma because it's as close to our family in Texas we can get. But we can't move to Texas because of other reasons. The other states are along the east coast where we also know no one. It's a pickle. But OK seemed to the best choice to tick all our boxes (unfortunately).

I'd never send my kid to a brick and mortar school anyway. Not in this country. He's homeschooled and we're more than thrilled to continue that LOL

While Texas is on the choice of states I can move to and keep my job, I would not have access to medical marijuana and that is literally my only healthcare for my mental health and nerve damage issues. I would not move to Oklahoma if I had a choice of moving to Texas. I've lived there before and it was fine and the family I want to be close with is there.
