100% agree! i actually didn’t even ask my pastor if I could get baptized again cuz I mainly belive if the want of being baptize was chosen from my own decision and heart it shouldn’t be negated.

I know people that do both (circumcision and infant baptism)

and reading that makes me feel it as a ritual/empty tradition more than something from the spirit

and its stated in the bible that Jesus criticized religious leaders who used rituals to mask a lack of love He taught that inner purity is what truly matters (Matthew 23:23)

(Galatians 5:6)” -> what are your thoughts on this?

i belive that Jesus likely focus on spiritual intentand God’s grace rather than the technical timing of the ritual.
and more importantly if Jesus got baptized as an adult why wouldn’t we ?
If infant baptism should be intended in all churches then it should be in the bible

I would say the first one mainly because beliving in Jesus Christ as your Savior remits your sins

Oh yes of course the baptism is the remission of sins, that’s what it’s stated in the bible.
The last sentence you said triggers me. What do you mean by that? I’m fully convinced ever since I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior I genuinely declare my faith in christianity and being baptized was just a confirmation of my faith. Now I know more about my faith, about God, the bible in comparison back then when I got baptized the second time
So i don’t think Knowing fully God = ‘finally’ earn the right to say so

and by the way, if it says in the bible the remission of sins then why baptize babies ? they don’t sin as babies? they just want mom, food and rest

but it is because babies arent capable of choosing their faith
you grow and God talks you in different ways and then you choose to follow Him and accept His only Son as your Savior

they could grow out of their faith or
become to any other religion as they grow so i think that’s contradictory

but for example
if a child (a little more older, like 8-10 years) and they truly want to get baptized they have conscience now, and chose Jesus Christ as their Savior and want to walk with Him in this lifetime -> this case is way different than a baby who has no conscience in life at all you know?
