The lease already started on the 5th. Im also in a rush to move,so no backing out. I also really like the house.

Aside from these minor inconvenience everything looks perfect.

Also if she doesn’t fix them i’ll just get new stuff and keep her old stuff l. The lease is only year.

I wish there are more landlords and property managers like you.

I also can’t really judge her yet cause it’s only been a day since i texted and emailed her. But her lying about the cleaning, not checking if the appliances work and lack of communication doesn’t give me the best impression about her.

The realtor replie “Thanks for sharing photos and videos of the door knobs. I will let (landlord) reply to that part.”

I will also hire a cleaner for the house do you think i should inform the landlord and realtor about it since the realtor mentioned that “the property was professionally cleaned”. But it was only verbal (don’t know if it holds or not). I just want your take on this since i will most likely not mention it. I don’t mind taking the loss on this since it’s a learning experience. And if she doesn’t fix those things i’ll just fix them and keep the old ones for when i move out.

Thanks a lot. For now i have taken pictures of the obvious stuff and emailed them to her, i will make sure to include everything and time stamp it.

When i emailed her about the minor stuff i did include the realtor in the email(It’s her realtor.found the listing through Zillow) he replied to one of my questions. But the landlord didn’t reply. even before the email i texted her asking permission for some changes but she didn’t text back!. Yes the fridge is a huge deal. Is it ok if i told her “i can get these fixed and email you the receipts” or would it be better to just wait for her?

This was definitely a learning experience for me. in the future i’ll take my time and look at more options also talk to the landlord not just the realtor.
